Elose was abruptly fired because she needed a few days off to recover after hurting her hand on the job washing dishes - on top of that she was often clocked out early while she was still working, was made to take on the work of 2 or 3 people, and was treated not like an employee and a person but rather like "some ornament you might find in a house."
